Shoreline Walks Free Community Walks Program

Explore neighborhoods, parks and trails on some of the best walking routes in our City. Designed for adults ages 50+ but open to all ages and abilities, each walk is led by a Volunteer Walk Leader and all walks are free. No need to sign up, just show up at the meetup location and we'll take care of the rest! Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome to join.

Echo Lake to Holy Rood Cemetery Walk 
Starting from the Echo Lake School we will head down the hill  to the Interurban Trail and Echo Lake Park. We will then take a roundabout route through the neighborhood and the  Ballinger Commons to the western entrance of the Holyrood Cemetery. After exploring a bit of the cemetery, we will return directly to our start.  Walk is rain or shine, so come dressed for the weather.
Walk is approximately 3.2 miles/2.0 hours. 
Walk rating: Moderate (hills and unpaved trails)
Meet: Echo Lake Elementary School at 19345 Wallingford Ave N. Park on  the north side of the school, on 195tth Street.
