Important Notice:

Rentals at Richmond Highlands Recreation Center will be unavailable beginning May 2024 and will resume in late summer 2025 due to the scale of construction of the Parks Bond Project at Richmond Highlands Park.

Improvements include new frontage, loop trail, sensory garden, playground, and basketball court. Improvements will also be made to the entire parking area to bring it to code compliance including accessible parking and routes to the new playground. In addition, a new accessible parking and drop off area will be added on the east side of the building.

Competition-size gym and two courts for adult volleyball and youth basketball contests, three courts for pickle ball, and six courts for badminton. Gym capacity 955.
Gymnastics/fitness room with cushioned vinyl floor and mirrored walls. Capacity 50.
Aerobics/dance room with finished wood floors, mirrored wall, natural lighting. Capacity 100.
Two multi-purpose rooms, one with an adjacent kitchen. Capacity 50.
Adjacent grass field may also be available.
Great for families, reunions, youth group activities, social gatherings and athletic activities.

Spartan Recreation Center Rental Policies:

Reservations may be made up to 90 days in advance and at least 14 days prior to the requested date. Please email shorelineparks@shorelinewa.gov or call (206) 801-2600 for availability and reservations.
Rentals outside of normal operating hours will incur an additional supervision fee of $24/hr per staff, additional staff will be needed for any event expecting more than 50 people in attendance.
The following rates are for rentals within normal hours of operation.
Please contact us by calling (206) 801-2600 regarding discounted facility fees for Non-Profit Youth Organization practices, leagues and meetings - this discount is not applicable for Team Parties.
No alcohol is allowed at the Spartan Recreation Center.

State of the art conference rooms of various sizes can accommodate your meeting, workshop, and training needs.

Projection equipment, dry-erase whiteboards, flip-chart easels, and telephones are available in every room.

Council Chamber (left): Can accommodate larger events and comfortably seat 36-48 persons at banquet round or rectangular tables, or up to 100 persons in chairs for auditorium-style seating.

Third-floor conference rooms: Can accommodate round table discussions of 6-14 persons around one large conference table or larger group activities that include u-shape or square-style seating for 22-48 persons.
