Make sure you have written the city name correctly and completely.
Online registration does not require a hard copy Liability Waiver as this is done electronically during the online registration process.
If you plan on registering in-person or over the phone, an annual Liability Waiver form will need to be on file with the City prior to registration completion.
Click on "forgot your password?" You will be prompted to enter your email address and then click Submit. The reset password request will be sent to you with a Reset Link that will be active for 24 hours. You will be prompted to enter a new password, verify password, then Submit. Scholarships are available to qualifying City of Shoreline residents for youth and specialized recreation programs. Forms should be returned to Spartan Recreation Center. Call (206) 801-2600 for more information about the scholarship program.

Once an activity has started, it may no longer be available for online registration. You may, however, be able to register in person or by phone if there is room in the class and the instructor has given permission.
Call Spartan Recreation Center (206) 801-2600 to check on late enrollment possibilities or further information. Please note that we cannot prorate the class fee.
If the class/program you want to register for is full, we can add your name to the waitlist. You will be called as openings become available. Payment is taken when you accept a spot and may be pro-rated.

- Yes, Spartan Recreation gym schedule can be viewed by going to shorelinewa.gov/registernow. Select the Calendars tab.
Alcohol is allowed with a permit at Richmond Highlands and City Hall rental facilities.
- The City of Shoreline has a donor bench and table program which allows the purchase of a bench or refurbishment of an existing picnic table in specific spots in parks. For more information on availability and pricing please visit our Donor Bench Program page.
Yes, if you have the approved permits.
- If you are charging money for the class then you would need to apply for and receive, a Concession Application and Permit form.
- If you are not charging for the class (i.e. taking donations or it is free) yet want to use a part of a park that is not rentable you would need to apply for and receive, a Park and Open Space Non-Exclusive Use Permit.
- If you are not charging for the class yet want to use a rentable park facility (i.e. picnic shelters) you will need to rent that facility. You can check availability of shelters and make requests for reservations on the City's registration site.

It depends on where you want to have your party:
- You could rent a picnic shelter or indoor facility. View our Outdoor and Indoor Rental information.
- If the space you want to use is non-rentable you will need to apply for a Park and Open Space Non-Exclusive Use Permit.

Alcohol is only allowed at designated park sites and with a Special Alcohol Permit. For more information please go to our Rental Policies page.
Paintball and airsoft guns are not allowed in the parks per Shoreline Municipal Code 8.12.490.
No, at this time it is not legal to spread loved ones ashes on City property.
Amplified music is only allowed with a permit in City of Shoreline parks. Amplified music would be designated in a rental permit if you are renting a facility, or a Park and Open Space Non-Exclusive Use Permit if the space you are using is not rentable.
Can I release a sky lantern on City of Shoreline property, including at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park?
No. Sky lanterns are not allowed on, or to be launched from, City of Shoreline property. The State of Washington has codified laws regulating sky lantern use. Pursuant to RCW 19.27.031 and WAC 51-54A-003, the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC), with some small modifications, is in effect in all counties and cities in Washington State (section 308.1.6.3 which states that “(a) person shall not release or cause to be released an untethered sky lantern.”)

The City offers rental options at Richmond Highlands Recreation Center and Spartan Recreation Center. More information can be found at shorelinewa.gov/rentals or by calling (206) 801-2600.
Reservations are accepted 180 days in advance.
You can now request to reserve your picnic shelter online!
- Reservations must be made at least seven (7) days in advance.
- You can check availability of shelters by clicking on the name of the shelter on the reservations page.
- Only two shelters allow for alcohol usage, Cromwell Amphitheater and Richmond Beach Terrace. Both require additional paperwork and approval. Here is more information about alcohol use or call (206) 801-2600.
- If a shelter is not reserved, usage works on a first come/first serve basis.

The City of Shoreline offers dog owners two (2) year round dog parks, with the addition of one (1) seasonal option (Nov 1-Mar 15).
Eastside Off-Leash Dog Park - 1902 NE 150th Street
Shoreview Off-Leash Dog Park - 320 NW Innis Arden Way
Seasonal Nov 1-Mar 15: Richmond Beach Saltwater Park beach - 2021 NW 190th Street
At all other parks your furry friend will need to be on a leash.All film inquiries go through the City’s Economic Development office. Please call (206) 801-2281.
Only in the fire ring at the Lower Richmond Beach picnic shelter. Priority use the of fire ring is for those who rented the lower picnic shelter.
