Tell us what's important to you!
Please visit the Online Open House by February 5, 2023 to tell us what's important to you about parks, community centers, arts and events. Your voice will help decide where and how to improve Shoreline parks and natural areas and help determine what kind of programs, art, and events the City offers.
Proposed Bus Route Changes: How Will Changes Impact You?
As link light rail extends to Lynnwood, the Lynnwood Link Connections mobility project will address changing transit needs and improve mobility options for communities in northwest King County and southwest Snohomish County. Metro is collaborating with Sound Transit and Community Transit, among other partners, to coordinate bus routes based on feedback from communities. Several routes in Shoreline are affected. Sign up for notifications and take the survey to comment on upcoming proposed routes/changes for when light rail opens in 2024 at the Lynnwood Link Connections web page.
You will also have an opportunity to provide input at a Metro Transit Information Session at the Shoreline Library on Thursday, February 2. See the calendar below for details.
Community Information Sessions About Shoreline School District Budget
A series of four community information sessions will be held over the coming weeks to bring awareness across the Shoreline and Lake Forest Park communities to the budget challenges the school district is facing. Interested residents, staff, families, and students may attend any session that works for their schedule.

As Ford reveals, in tracing the history of almost any major American institution of power and wealth you’ll find it was created by Black Americans, or created to control them. Clyde W. Ford is the author of thirteen works of fiction and non-fiction. In Honor of Black History Month, join a discussion with Clyde W. Ford, author of Of Blood and Sweat: Black Lives and the Making of White Power and Wealth. As Ford reveals, in tracing the history of almost any major American institution of power and wealth you’ll find it was created by Black Americans, or created to control them. Clyde W. Ford is the author of thirteen works of fiction and non-fiction.
