She Marches in Chinatown - Documentary Film Screening

Free screening of She Marches in Chinatown, an award winning documentary about the history of the Seattle Chinese Community Girls Drill Team. Formed in 1952 by Ruby Chow, the first Asian American member of King County Council, the drill team pairs Chinese opera costumes with American military-style drills.

The 33 minute film will be followed by Q&A with the film's director, Della Chen, and Colleen McKisson, drill team Captain and Shorewood HS alum.
