2023 Summer Gardening Workshop Series

Join King County Master Gardeners on Saturday, August 26, at 10 a.m. for a FREE in-person workshop on gardening with native plants! Native plants bring benefits to Northwest land and water resources, wildlife, and people - they control erosion by holding the soil with their roots, reduce flooding by slowing runoff, and provide food, shelter, and cover for fish and wildlife. We’ll cover everything from a general introduction to Pacific Northwest native plant species to site considerations and plant selection.

The class is geared toward beginners, but all experience levels are welcome.

Space is limited. Register is required. Sign up online to save your spot!

This workshop is part of a Summer Gardening Series, a collaboration between the City of Shoreline and King County Master Gardeners. Funded in part by the Hazardous Waste Management Program. View the full series schedule online.
