As per the City’s web policies, the City of Shoreline only posts City-sponsored events, other governmental agency events, and City-sponsored group events, including City-sponsored neighborhood associations. However, if you are an individual or community group that would like to post your community event online, the Shoreline Area News events list is an available community resource.

February 27, 2023 City Council Regular Meeting

Please be advised that the Shoreline City Council Regular Meeting on Monday, February 27, 2023 will be held in the Council Chamber using a hybrid format where both in-person and online attendance is allowed. You may attend the meeting in person, join via Zoom webinar, or listen to the meeting over the telephone. Council is providing opportunities for public comment in person, remotely, or by submitting written comment. In person public commenters must sign up in person prior to the start of Agenda Item 6, and remote public commenters must sign-up online by 6:30 p.m. the night of the meeting.

Agenda Highlights:

  • Approval of Expenses and Payroll as of February 17, 2023 in the Amount of $1,638,939.47 (Administrative Services)
  • Adoption of the 2023 Comprehensive Plan Amendment Docket (Planning & Community Development)
  • Authorize the City Manager to Amend the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with King County for the Acquisition of Open Space Through the Conservation Futures Tax Levy Collections Grant Program (Administrative Services)
  • Authorize the City Manager to Enter into a Grant Contract with King County to accept $500,000 in Grant Funding from the King County Parks Levy for the Acquisition of Property at Rotary Park (Administrative Services)
  • Authorize the City Manager to Execute an Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with KPFF Consulting Engineers in the Amount of $ 1,765,210 for the 148th Street Non-Motorized Bridge Project (Public Works)
  • Authorize the City Manager to Execute an Amendment to the Contract with Jacobs Engineering Group for Bid-Ready Design on Phase 1 of the SR-523 (N/NE 145th Street) Aurora Avenue to Interstate-5 Project in an Amount Not to Exceed $629,778 for a Contract Maximum Amount of $5,761,755 (Public Works)
  • Action on Resolution No. 506 - Adopting Public Participation Plan for the 2024 Comprehensive Plan Update (Planning and Community Development)
  • Action on Federal Legislative Priorities (City Manager's Office)
