The Sidewalk Rehabilitation Program provides repair and replacement of existing pedestrian facilities located in the public right-of-way. The City would like to invite you to attend two (2) virtual Open Houses to learn more about upcoming sidewalk improvement projects.
5th Avenue NE (NE 165th Street to NE 175th Street) Sidewalk Rehabilitation Virtual Open House
September 29 – October 13
Project Overview
This project will rehabilitate damaged pedestrian facilities on 5th Avenue NE between NE 165th Street and NE 175th Street. The project will repair sidewalk panels damaged by tree roots, cracking, and settlement. Curb ramps will be upgraded to current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.

The Open House features a video recording and presentation slides about the project and includes an optional survey for you to provide comments and questions on the project.
15th Avenue NE (NE 155th Street to NE 175th Street) Sidewalk Rehabilitation Virtual Open House
September 29 – October 13
Project Overview
This project will repair and replace pedestrian facilities on 15th Avenue NE between NE 155th Street and NE 175th Street. The scope of this project will primarily involve repairing lifted sidewalk panels due to tree root intrusion and upgrading all Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ramps within the project limits to current standards. Other improvements will be to remove barriers such as grinding lifted panels and upgrading non-ADA compliant stormwater grates.
