As per the City’s web policies, the City of Shoreline only posts City-sponsored events, other governmental agency events, and City-sponsored group events, including City-sponsored neighborhood associations. However, if you are an individual or community group that would like to post your community event online, the Shoreline Area News events list is an available community resource.

October 3, 2022 City Council Regular Meeting

Please be advised that the Shoreline City Council Regular Meeting on Monday, October 3, 2022 will be held in the Council Chamber using a hybrid format where both in-person and online attendance is allowed. You may attend the meeting in person, join via Zoom webinar, or listen to the meeting over the telephone. Council is providing opportunities for public comment in person, remotely, or by submitting written comment. In person public commenters must sign up in person prior to the start of Agenda Item 6, and remote public commenters must sign-up online by 6:30 p.m. the night of the meeting.

Agenda Highlights:

  • Proclamation of Safe Shoreline Month (Recreation, Cultural and Community Services)
  • Proclamation of Mayor's Day of Concern for the Hungry (Recreation, Cultural and Community Services)
  • Adoption of the 2023 Community Development Block Grant Funding (CDBG) and Contingency Plan and the 2023-2024 Human Services Funding Plan, and Authorizing the City Manager to Execute Contracts to Implement Approved Programs and Projects (Recreation, Cultural and Community Services)
  • Authorize the City Manager to Execute Contract Amendment 2 with DOWL, LLC in the Amount of $14,181 for a Total Contract Amount of $363,608 to Support the Design of 20th Avenue NW Sidewalk Project and the Preparation of Grant Application Materials (Public Works)
  • Authorize the City Manager to Execute an Interlocal Agreement with Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) for the Design of SPU Water and Wastewater systems in the 145th Corridor Project (Public Works)
  • Authorize the City Manager to Execute Supplement No. 3 to Contract 8463 with H.W. Lochner, Inc. in the Amount of $592,312 for Design and Environmental Services for the SR-523 (N/NE 145th Street) & Interstate-5 Interchange Project (Public Works)
  • Discussion of Scope for the 2024 Comprehensive Plan Update (Planning and Community Development)
