Proposal
Shoreline passed Proposition 1 Bond measure in February 2022 which includes improvements to Hillwood Park. Proposed improvements are to construct a new spray park, trail loop, picnic shelters, playground improvements, multi-sport courts, critical areas and/or their associated buffers. The proposal requires Type A applications (Building Permit, Site Development Permit) and a critical areas review. A Critical Area Special Use Permit (CASUP) will be required as there is no feasible path to development without risk to critical areas on site. The CASUP is Type C action subject to certain criteria and a public hearing process. A State Environmental Policy Act review, and code interpretation will also be required, in addition to a right-of-way permit and a wastewater permit.
Required Applications:
- SEPA Environmental Review
- City of Shoreline Site Development Permit
- City of Shoreline Building Permit
- City of Shoreline Right-of-way Permit
- City of Shoreline Wastewater Permit
- City of Shoreline Critical Area Special Use Permit
