City Clerk's Office

The Shoreline City Clerk's Office provides support to the City Council and the City Manager's Office and helps the City of Shoreline comply with public records and open public meeting laws.

City Council Meetings
Please note that council meetings will now be held at the Shoreline City Hall, Council Meeting room at 17500 Midvale Ave North.  Parking is available on the ground floor of the new City Hall parking garage.

Council Meetings now begin at 7:00 p.m.
As of Tuesday, Sept. 7, all Shoreline City Council meetings -- business meetings and study sessions -- will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Proposition 1 Maintenance and Operations Levy
At its July 26 meeting, the Shoreline City Council adopted a resolution placing Proposition 1, a maintenance and operations levy to maintain basic public safety, parks & recreation, and community services, on the November 2, 2010, general election ballot.
Shoreline rated as one of America’s best small cities
After regularly being featured in local magazines over the years, the City of Shoreline is now recognized nationally as a great place to live. In CNN Money’s America’s Best Places to Live 2010 list of small American cities, Shoreline is number 64 of 100.
Shoreline signs contract for new Regional Animal Services program
On July 1, Shoreline Mayor Keith McGlashan ceremonially signed the service contracts for a new Regional Animal Services model to handle animal control, sheltering and licensing services. The new contract took effect July 1 and expires at the end of 2012.
