The City Attorney provides legal advice and representation to the City Council, City Manager and City Departments. The City Attorney also administers the contract with a private law firm to provide prosecution services in King County District Court - Shoreline Division for violations of the Shoreline Municipal Code. This contract also includes domestic violence advocacy services provided by the Shoreline Domestic Violence Victim Coordinator.
