Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan
Parks, recreation, cultural services and open spaces are key elements of a community's quality of life. Adopted in May 2005, the Parks, Recreation and Open Space (PROS) Plan assists in prioritizing City investments in these facilities and programs for all incorporated land within the City of Shoreline. Updated every 5-7 years, the intent of the PROS Plan is to build the framework for the future maintenance and development of Shoreline's parks, recreation and cultural programs.
The City of Shoreline and the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services (PRCS) Board have begun reviewing the document to identify future park-wide development and maintenance needs for the required update that is due in June 2011. Community input is essential for a successful update to the plan. A series of community meetings will begin this fall.
Paper copies of the current plan can be purchased at City Hall for $16.93 each (includes tax), no CDs available.
