N 192nd to N 200th Street
The east side of Aurora has limited ingress and egress from just north of the YMCA to N 200th Street for business and local access only. This temporary local access road must be used to reach any business or residence on the east side of Aurora between the YMCA and N 200th Street. Entry into this part of the road is north of the YMCA with one way traffic all the way to the exit at N 200th Street. Vehicles entering Aurora from N 198th or N 199th Streets will only be able to turn right. This roadway configuration (see map below) is scheduled to last up to several months until work on the east side of Aurora is complete and work shifts to the center of Aurora. The local access will continue to be a live work zone with crews and equipment. Users are urged to proceed with caution through the area.
Curb, gutter, and sidewalk work will continue north along Aurora. Work on the stormwater treatment system near N 205th Street (in front of Bank of America) is scheduled to begin. Landscaping work (irrigation and topsoil) will be ongoing on the east side of Aurora. There will be some paving north of N 200th Street on Aurora in the new northbound lane.
Street lighting work will be ongoing.
