Updated October 31, 2014
Excavation will continue during daytime hours (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) for utility work (lighting and communications) on the west side of Aurora between N 200th Street and N 205th Street. Utility work will begin on the east side of Aurora between Echo Lake Place N and N 198th Street.
Storm drain work, resulting in trenching and installation of pipes and inlets, is in progress. Over the next several weeks, construction of new curbs, gutters, and sidewalks will occur along N 199th and N 200th Streets. Retaining wall work will occur on N 195th and N 200th Streets. Both directions of Aurora and the affected side streets may be restricted to one lane during the daytime non-commute hours to perform any of the work above, weather permitting.
Remaining activities on the west side of Aurora for this year include asphalt pavement removal, excavation, utility work, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, driveways, retaining walls, and paving. Utility work will occur on the east side of Aurora.
Follow signs and footprints when walking near the construction zone.
